ICING STUDIOS is a Denver-based Decorative Paint Studio specializing in decorative (faux) finish, artistic ornamentation, and muraling including trompe l'oeiol.
The studio is owned and operated by artist Jen Gagnon who has a design degree from the University of Cincinnati where she concentrated in fine art and classical illustration.
Our clients consist of Homeowners, Interior Designers, and Custom Home Builders. Most are located in the Denver Metro area, and client homes range in value from $1 - $20 Million.
Our crew currently consists of three artists: The Decorative Finishing artist is highly trained in troweled plaster finishes, paint glaze and other techniques such as iridescent fresco, European cracked linen, and Faux Bois (artist-rendered wood graining).
The Ornamentation Artist renders designs of hand-painted scrollwork and wrought iron designs, and the Muralist is skilled in juvenile murals, European landscapes, and trompe l'oeil.
Project pricing is done by wall squaare footage for decorative finishing, and by scope for muraling. Our pricing conforms to industry standards.
